*Valeting Tips ~
If you are fanatical about your paintwork, we would recommend keeping
a can of this in your car at all times so that you can remove bird
mess as soon as you find it. Bird's mess can be lethal stuff... even
if you wipe it off, the acid can get dried into your paintwork, and
from then on, every time there is some rain or a drop of dew, or even
when you wash your car, the water re-activates the acid causing more
etching. We had this problem when wet-sanding out the etching from
bird lime. We would sand and polish until the mark was completely removed
only to find it would return a week later. Our problem was that the
alkaline products we were then using failed to completely neutralise
the acid deep within the microscopic pores of the paintwork. When Supagard's
Bird Lime Neutraliser came along, it very effectively solved this problem
for us. We think it's great stuff.
